Alexandre graduated school with the highest national diploma in the art of
cooking in France. After which he was a finalist in the culinary challenge
“Raymond Vaudard”. Chef Alexandre started his career at the “Four Seasons
Terres blanches” and showed his merit in the company immediately. On a
team, lead by Chef Philippe Jourdain MOF, Chef Jean Denis Rieubland MOF
and Chef Marco Garfagnini, he used what he learned in school in practice.
After 3 years at the Four Seasons Geneva, he joined Claude Legras MOF and
obtained the second Michelin star for his restaurant. He continued his career with a move to Luxembourg, to a luxury bistronomic restaurant. 5 years ago he landed in Polynesia to manage the culinary operation of the Four Seasons Bora Bora. Through his passion for traveling around Europe, America, the South Pacific and recently Asia as an Executive Chef in Nihi Sumba Resort (Best Resort in the world -Travel + Leisure Magazine), Chef Alexandre has grown and expanded his already vast knowledge and skills in the kitchen. He is the right person to make your culinary experience memorable.
Community and Marketing Manager Stacey
Originally from Philadelphia PA, Stacey graduated with honors in Business Management and Marketing from Kutztown University in the US. After school, she started a long and varied career journey. With experience in food and beverage service, advertising, publishing, video production and content marketing she brings a variety of skills to the team. After living in Los Angeles California for 6 years she decided to begin traveling through Europe with her husband. Her travels brought her to the island of Hvar and the town of Stari Grad. All of her experiences have culminated in this new position with Hvar Chef . She is excited to share her knowledge and passion with you.
Service and Wine Manager - Yvan
Yvan graduated with a Masters degree in hospitality management and started his
career at the Four Seasons Terre Blanche as head sommelier. He explored and
shared the world of wines in a two star Michelin restaurant lead by Philippe
Jourdin and Thierry Demolliens, respectively “MOF” in the art of cooking and
the art of service. In 2011, Yvan was promoted within the company and
transferred to their French Polynesia Resort to manage the room service
program and organize private events in the company’s luxury villas.
With all of this knowledge and these experiences, he travelled with his partner Chloé to the island of Hvar in 2014 to create a gourmet deli shop ZA POD ZUB, an unbelievable place for foodies to find all of the best local and island products. One year later he created the Private Chef Service to continue to share his love, expertise and passion for gastronomy.
